Essential works set to take place on the water network in Enfield

Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section.

Uisce Éireann is carrying out essential works to the water network in Enfield tomorrow, Thursday, 6 June and a disruption to the supply is necessary to facilitate the works.

Uisce Éireann’s Matt Thomson promises local homes and businesses that every effort will be made to reduce the impact of the works and restore the water supply as quickly as possible.

“We understand the impact that outages can have on customers and would like to thank the local community in advance for their patience and co-operation during these essential works.”

From 10pm on Thursday night, 6 June to 1am on Friday morning, 7 June, homes and businesses in Johnstown, Johnstown Way, Gleniden Court, Enfield Main Street, Baynefield, Innfield, New Inn, Coachyard, The Park, Blackwater, Delmere, Posseckstown, Blackwater, New Road, Glen Abhainn, Moyfenrath, Royal Oaks, Newcastle Woods, Rathdown and surrounding areas may be impacted by reduced water pressure or supply interruptions.

Following works, it can take two to three hours for normal water supply to return to all customers as the network replenishes. As the water supply returns, there may be some increased short-term instances of discoloured water.
