Uisce Éireann progressing with works as part of the Malahide Water Supply Scheme safeguarding the water supply to homes and businesses in Malahide
Uisce Éireann working in partnership with Fingal County Council is progressing with works at Seamount Road as part of the Malahide water supply scheme in order to safeguard the water supply for homes and businesses in Malahide and surrounding areas. The works are being delivered in adherence to current government and HSE Covid-19 advice.
Works at Seamount Road in Malahide will result in disruption to supply between 8am and 5pm on Monday 22 February and Wednesday 24 February. Customers in the areas encompassed by Malahide Marina and Robswall to the coast road as well as Blackwood Lane to Broomfield and surrounding areas may be impacted by lower than normal water pressure and in some instances water outages during this time. Once the works are completed, normal water supply will begin to be restored. Full water supply may take 1-2 hours to return to all impacted properties as water refills the network.
Uisce Éireann is working at this time, with our Local Authority partners, contractors and others to safeguard the health and well-being of both staff and the public and to ensure the continuity of critical drinking water and wastewater services. Uisce Éireann would like to remind people to follow the HSE COVID-19 advice and ensure frequent handwashing.
