Uisce Éireann progressing with works as part of the Malahide Water Supply Scheme
Uisce Éireann working in partnership with Fingal County Council is progressing with works at Seamount Road as part of the Malahide water supply scheme in order to safeguard the water supply for homes and businesses in Malahide and surrounding areas. The works are being delivered in adherence to current government and HSE Covid-19 advice.
Further essential works are required at Seamount Road in Malahide. These works may result in a disruption to supply between 9am and 4pm on Friday 26 February. Every effort has been made to minimise any impact on customers, however customers in the following areas may be impacted by lower than normal water pressure; properties from the railway bridge on the Back Road to Malahide Reservoir on Seamount Drive. Once the works are completed, normal water supply will begin to be restored. Full water supply may take 1-2 hours to return to all impacted properties as water refills the network.
Uisce Éireann is working at this time, with our Local Authority partners, contractors and others to safeguard the health and well-being of both staff and the public and to ensure the continuity of critical drinking water and wastewater services. Uisce Éireann would like to remind people to follow the HSE COVID-19 advice and ensure frequent handwashing.
