Possible disruption on Lough Talt Regional Water Supply

Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section

Uisce Éireann customers in the Lough Talt Regional Water Supply Zone in Co Sligo may experience intermittent disruptions to their water supply over the weekend. This is as a result of a major trunk main repair carried out on Thursday night between the Lough Talt  Water Treatment Plant and Tubbercurry.

The majority of customers in the Lough Talt Regional Water Supply Zone will be unaffected but some customers on the ends of pipelines or on elevated sites may experience intermittent supply disruptions as the network stabilities itself in the wake of the repair works. The areas that may be affected include Kilmactag, Aclare, Tourlestrane, Rue, Curry, Mulanes Cross, Carrontubber, Annagh and parts of Tubbercurry.

Customers who experience interruptions to their supply and require more information can contact the Uisce Éireann customer care helpline, which is open 24/7, on 1800 278 278.

Vulnerable customers who have registered with Uisce Éireann receive direct communications for planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours.
