Works underway to restore supply in Cloonfad and surrounding areas in Co. Roscommon following burst water main

Uisce Éireann is working to restore normal water supply to homes and businesses in areas of Co. Roscommon, following a burst to a watermain. Those areas affected include townlands west of Lowberry Cross including Meeltraun, Cloonfad village, 100 Acres, Clogher Upper, Derrylahan, Cornabanny, Swinefield, Fiddauns, Gorteenacammadil, Tonlegee ( in Mayo), Culkeen, Pollanalty, Ballinross, Mountdelvin, and  Moigh.

Expert water service crews have been dispatched and are working to minimise disruption and carry out the required repair works, with every effort being made to complete this work as quickly as possible. Works are scheduled to take place until 4pm this afternoon.

We understand how disruptive unplanned outages are and we sincerely regret any inconvenience caused. We also want to thank impacted customers for their patience as we work to restore normal supplies.

Following completion of works, we recommend customers allow 3-4 hours after the estimated restoration time for supply to fully return.

Vulnerable customers who have registered with Uisce Éireann receive direct communications from us for planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours.
