Blackrock Water Network Upgrade
Uisce Éireann has upgraded the water network in Blackrock to support future growth and development in the area.
The works involved the installation of over 2km of new water mains and was part of a project to improve the capacity of the existing water network and operational performance in the area.
The section of works is took place along the R172 Sea Road and Rock Road.
This project was delivered to support existing and future developments within the community. It will improve the capacity of the existing water network in the area, improving performance and reducing demands on the current network.
The works were carried out on behalf of Uisce Éireann by GMC Utilities Group, and were completed in summer 2024.
