Enfield Water Network Extension
Uisce Éireann is upgrading the water network at Enfield to support future growth and development in the area.
The works involve the installation of over 400m of new water mains and is part of a project to improve the capacity of the existing water network and operational performance in the area.
The section of works will take place from the intersection of New Road / Dublin Road, near Na Fianna GAA Club, as far as the R148 roundabout.
This project is being delivered to support existing and future developments within the community. It will improve the capacity of the existing water network in the area, improving performance and reducing demands on the current network.
The works will be carried out on behalf of Uisce Éireann by GMC Utilities Group Ltd. and are expected to be completed by the end of Q1 2024.

Will customers be affected by the works?
To facilitate these works, a lane closure is required on the outbound lane heading east on Dublin Road. Works will be carried out in rolling stages to minimise disruption, and a Stop / Go traffic management system will be in operation to ensure a safe flow of traffic around the works area.
We understand that this type of work can be inconvenient and works crews will make every effort to minimise any disruption these necessary works cause. Standard working hours are 8AM to 6PM, Monday to Friday.
