Milltown Water Network Upgrade
Uisce Éireann Growth and Development Programme
Uisce Éireann, in partnership with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, has completed upgrades to the water network in the Milltown / Dundrum area to support future growth and development.
The works involved the replacement and upsizing of 720m of water mains along the R117 Dundrum Road, to improve the capacity of the existing water network, and the installation of a new water main to connect new proposed development in the Milltown area.
This project was delivered as part of Uisce Éireann's national Growth and Development Programme, to support existing and future developments within the community. It will improve the capacity of the existing water network in the area, improving performance and reducing demands on the current network.
The works were carried out on behalf of Uisce Éireann by GMC Utilities Ltd. and were completed in April 2024.
